Sugarhill started in 2003 as an independent boutique located in the fashionable district of Avinyo in Barcelona. Initially Sugarhill was created as an in house label to be stocked alongside a handful of carefully picked designers. Our aim was to offer original fun British designs at affordable prices.

Sugarhill is Pawel and his little sis Aleks Przedpelski - they met at home. Luckily popular theories were dispelled and sibling rivalry gave way to a partnership where their individual talents compliment each other.

The Sugarhill girl is true to herself – not a slave to fashion - sometimes sporty, quirky, fun, stylish, sassy and sometimes she just wants to chill. She embraces herself and most importantly understands that life is but a moment …to enjoy, have fun, be who you want to be, when you want to be. Sugarhill combines fresh feminine chic, meaningful graphics and street style encouraging women to express their individuality and moods and desires through clothing.

Since opening the label has grown and these days Sugarhill produces 2 seasonal collections a year. Each collection compromises of 50-60 unique pieces. Due to the success and reaction from our clientele the potential of the label was soon realised and Sugarhill launched its debut S/S 06 wholesale collection in August 2005 at Margin, London. Staying true to our Spanish roots we have exhibited at Bread & Butter Barcelona since January 2006. We made exciting European contacts and filled good orders. The international response has been brilliant and we are building up a strong stockist list with selective clients in Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, the Uk and Ireland.

Currently we are busy focusing on expanding in the UK, Spain and France. With regards to the UK we are aiminaiming to build a solid base of clients throughout independent retailers and boutiques which target the 20-30 market.
